little bit about our company.
The roots of
Westchase Window Cleaning can be traced back to the
1930's when Irv Friedman, a Russian immigrant, started a
window cleaning business in Erie, Pennsylvania. Along
with his son, Burt, and his grandson, Al, who started
working for the family business in the 1970's, the three
generations of professional window cleaners comprised
Friedman Window Cleaning.
Al had dreams of starting his own business, and after
serving in the US Navy, moved to Houston to establish
Westchase Window Cleaning in 1978. Houston was a
boomtown in those days, and within months the window
cleaning business was booming, too. It was at this time
that a partnership was formed with Mike Martin, a
childhood friend.
Mike was already in Houston working as a cabinet-maker.
His eye for detail and demand for quality made him a
natural in the window cleaning business.
Together, Al and Mike have served Houston and its
surrounding areas along with a group of long-term
employees. They have done all types of window cleaning,
including running one of Houston's biggest storefront
routes, mid-rise building cleaning, and residential
work. Word of mouth has made Westchase Window Cleaning
the choice for those who seek a prompt, courteous
contractor who, above all else, cares greatly about the
quality of your window cleaning job.
